According to the scriptures, the Maa Katyayani Mool Mantra is described as the most beneficial for receiving the blessings of Maa Katyayani. It is believed that those who chant this mantra are blessed with harmony in relationships. If this mantra is recited at one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, particularly at the Maa Katyayani Shakti Peeth, it is believed to be even more fruitful. This temple, located in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna, is one of the ancient Siddhapeeths. According to legend, the hair of Maa Sati fell at this site, making it a highly significant and ancient Siddhapeeth. Additionally, performing Durga Sahasranama Kumkum Archana along with this mantra jaap further enhances the significance of this worship. In this ritual, the thousand names of Maa Durga are recited while offering Kumkum at her feet. It is believed that performing Durga Sahasranama Kumkum Archana grants protection from negative energies by Goddess Durga.
