Navratri Shaktipeeth Jyotirlinga Combo Special 51,000 Maa Kali Rudra Roop Mantra Jaap and Shaktipeeth Nav Chandi Homa for Protection from Fear and Negative Energies

According to the Hindu Vedic calendar, the festival of Shardiya Navratri begins each year on the Pratipada Tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashwin. During Shardiya Navratri, the nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped for nine days. During Navratri, Maa Kali, who is considered a fierce form of Maa Durga, is also worshipped. According to legend, there was a powerful demon named Raktabeej who had a boon that every drop of his blood that touched the ground would give rise to a new demon. Due to this boon, Raktabeej created havoc across all three worlds. The gods were unable to defeat him because every time they wounded him, more demons would be born from his spilled blood. In desperation, all the gods sought the help of Maa Kali. To destroy Raktabeej, Maa Kali appeared and spread her tongue across the battlefield, preventing any drop of his blood from touching the ground. In this way, she stopped Raktabeej from being reborn and defeated him. But while killing the demons, Maa Kali's anger had become so fierce that it became difficult to calm her down. On the advice of the gods, Lord Shiva made several attempts to calm Maa Kali down but he failed every time. Finally, Lord Shiva himself lay down in the path of Maa Kali, as soon as Maa Kali's feet touched Lord Shiva, she realised her actions and her anger subsided.

This form of Maa Kali, with her foot placed on Lord Shiva, is known as Dakshina Kali. To receive the blessings of Maa Kali, devotees chant various mantras, one of which is the "Maa Kali Rudra Roop Mantra." This mantra is dedicated to the Dakshina form of Maa Kali. It is believed that chanting this mantra during Navratri brings the blessings of protection from fear and negative energies by Maa Kali. Furthermore, if the Nav Chandi Homa is performed along with this mantra jaap, the ritual becomes even more powerful and fruitful. The Nav Chandi Homa is a special and potent fire ritual in which the nine forms of Maa Durga are worshipped. Therefore, on the auspicious occasion of the fifth day of Navratri, 51,000 Maa Kali Rudra Roop Mantra Jaap will be organised at Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga temple in Khandwa and Nav Chandi Homa will be organised at Shaktipeeth Kalighat Temple. For the first time, Sri Mandir is organising this combo special puja at both the Shaktipeeth and the Jyotirlinga during Navratri. Participate in this combo special puja through Sri Mandir to receive the blessings of protection from fear and negative energies from Maa Kali.

Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga is the fourth Jyotirlinga among the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. It is considered to be a self-manifested linga. It is located on an island named Mandhata or Shivpuri in the middle of the Narmada river in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh. Here Jyotirlinga exists in two forms. One of which is known as Mamleshwar and the other is known as Omkareshwar. Mamleshwar is located a little away from Omkareshwar on the south bank of Narmada. Despite being different, they are counted as one. Omkar was first pronounced from the mouth of the creator Brahma. The recitation of the Vedas also begins with 'Om'. It is believed that Maa Narmada herself flows here in the shape of Om. According to the scriptures, one gets freedom from all sins by just visiting Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. In the Puranas, Skanda Purana, Shiva Purana and Vayu Purana mention the glory of Omkareshwar area. According to legend, Bholenath comes here to sleep at night after visiting all three worlds. It is said that this is the only temple on earth where Shiva-Parvati plays Chausar dice every day.

The Kalighat temple, which is located in Kolkata, West Bengal, is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Hinduism and is considered a very important pilgrimage site. This temple is dedicated to Maa Kali, who is considered the goddess of power, energy and destruction. According to legend, the right toe of Goddess Sati fell here when Lord Shiva was doing Tandava with her dead body. Due to this, this place is included in the 51 most sacred Shaktipeeths. Here in this temple, the idol of Maa Kali in her fierce form is installed. In this idol, Maa Kali is seen keeping her feet on Lord Shiva's chest and there is a garland of human heads around her neck, she has some axes and some human heads in her hands, some human heads are also tied around her waist. Her tongue is out and some drops of blood are dripping from the tongue. It is noteworthy that the tongue of Mother Kali in the statue is made of gold.
