According to scriptures, Maa Katyayani is the sixth form of Goddess Durga. She was born as the daughter of Sage Katyayana, who performed severe penance to please the Goddess. It is believed that her worship blesses unmarried girls with a suitable life partner, while married devotees may experience love and harmony in their marital life. Her grace is also associated with courage, inner strength, and victory over adversaries.
