Kalashtami, also known as Bhairavashtami, is a sacred day dedicated to Lord Kaal Bhairav. It falls on the Ashtami of the Krishna Paksha every month, but the Kalashtami of Ashwin month is considered to have special significance. It is believed that Havan, Jaap, and special puja performed on this day reduce negative influences and infuse life with new positive energy. In the scriptures, Kalashtami is described as the best time for spiritual practices, self-reflection, and connecting with God. The impact of religious activities performed on this day is considered greater than on other days, as this time is most receptive to the spiritual world.
