Bharat Mata Mandir was constructed by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta. The unique artistry of this temple was done by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupta, who designed it based on mathematical principles. The construction of this temple was supervised by Durga Prasad Khatri and involved 25 sculptors and 30 labourers. It took six years to complete the temple, and Babu inaugurated it on 25th October 1936.

On Republic Day and Independence Day, the water bodies on the map are filled with water, and the land areas are adorned with flowers. The temple's dimensions are 31 feet 2 inches in length and 30 feet 2 inches in width. The map on the temple is made from 762 pieces of stone, each measuring 11 x 11 inches, which is a marvellous sight to behold.

The structure of Bharat Mata Mandir is made of marble. Inside the temple, there is a marble idol of Bharat Mata, representing undivided India. The temple also features a magnificent marble map of undivided India, showcasing mountains, plains, and oceans beautifully. It also displays the longitude and latitude lines, making it an awe-inspiring sight for tourists. The entire temple is supported by five pillars representing the five elements of nature - air, water, fire, ether, and earth.
