📜 In the Devi Puranas, the Nav-Kali Yantra Sthapana and Mahahavan on the Saptami tithi of Navratri hold special significance. On this day, along with Maa Kalratri, the nine divine forms of Maa Kali are worshipped. It is described in the scriptures that the installation of the Nav-Kali Yantra may calm the negative energy, enemy obstacles, fear, and unseen dangers prevalent in life. Along with this, in the Mahahavan at the Shaktipeeth, special mantra recitations, Nav-Kali invocation, 108 offerings, and sacred substances dedicated to the Goddess are offered. It is believed that through this ritual, devotees get divine protection, courage, self-strength, and the right direction to overcome life's difficulties.
🏵️ This ritual is going to be held at the Shaktipeeth Kalighat Temple, Kolkata. This is one of the 51 major Shaktipeethas of India and is considered a very sacred place for the devotees of Maa Kali. According to mythological stories, this place was established when the toe of Mother Sati's right foot fell here. In the Kalighat temple, Maa Kali is seated in the form of "Dakshina Kali", who is both fierce and compassionate. Here, grand rituals, havans, and tantra-based events are conducted during Navratri, Amavasya, and special festivals. It is believed that by having puja performed here with devotion, devotees receive prosperity and the divine blessings of Maa Kali.
🌑 The Mahahavan performed on the Saptami tithi of Navratri along with the Yantra Sthapana is considered extremely powerful and sacred. According to the scriptures, performing Mahahavan on Saptami may remove negative energy, enemy obstacles, fear, and unseen dangers, and give direction to prosperity. In this havan, special mantras of the Goddess are chanted, offerings of sacred substances are made, and a collective invocation is done by Brahmins. On the 7th day of Navratri, this ritual has the power to maintain the blessings of Maa Kali in the lives of devotees for a long time.
