🕉️Shardiya Navratri is a great festival of Shakti worship, which begins this year on Monday, 22 September 2025. It starts on the Shukla Pratipada of the Ashwina month with Ghatasthapana or Kalash Sthapana, where the Goddess Shakti is prayed to. On the first day, the first form of Maa Durga, 'Devi Shailputri', who is the daughter of the Himalayas and a symbol of stability and determination, is worshipped. For nine days, devotees seek the grace of the Goddess's many forms through fasting, worship, and rituals. This festival carries the message of the victory of good over evil.
