This re-established the balance between the gods and the asuras.
This avatar teaches us that ego and obstacles can be easily overcome with humility and wisdom. Vaman Jayanti is the day to commemorate this incarnation of Lord Vaman. It is said in the scriptures that worshipping him on this day is believed to help gradually remove obstacles and troubles from life.
