👉The first Prahar, known as Pradosh Kaal, starts around 6:00 PM and ends around 8:00 PM. During this time, a special Abhishek of Lord Shiva will be performed using Bhasma (sacred ash) and Gangajal.
👉The second Prahar begins around 9:00 PM and ends around 11:00 PM. During this time, a special Abhishek of Bhagwan Shiva will be performed with Milk and Bhang.
👉The third Prahar starts around 1:00 AM and concludes at 3:00 AM. Sugarcane juice and Honey will be used for the special Abhishek during this time.
👉The puja of the Fourth and Last Prahar will take place from 3:30 AM to 5:30 AM in Brahma Muhurta (most auspicious time as per the Hindu scriptures) completing this Maha Abhishek puja of Lord Shiva with with Shodashopchara Abhishek, involving 11 fruit juices and Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, yogurt, honey, sugar, and ghee).

According to mythology, after traversing the three realms, Lord Shiva comes here to rest at night. It is said that this is the only temple on earth where Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati play a divine game of dice (chaupar) every night.
