Located in the holy city of Kashi, the city of Lord Shiva, Shri Durga Kund Mandir is one of the most ancient sites of Adi Shakti worship. Navdurga Mandir, Katra:
Situated in the Trikuta Hills of Jammu, Katra is known for both its natural beauty and its immense religious importance. This is also the starting point of the holy pilgrimage to Vaishno Devi. About 9 kilometers from Katra lies the Navdurga Mandir, also known as the temple of the nine goddesses. This temple is located inside a natural cave, where the nine forms of Maa Durga are enshrined in naturally-formed rock shapes. During Navratri, a large number of devotees gather here. It is believed that worshipping the nine forms of Maa Durga on these days grants peace of mind and amplifies the effects of spiritual practice many times over. The Kanya Pujan and Durga-Chandi Havan performed here are considered especially auspicious.
