💫 One story of Karva Chauth is related to the Mahabharata, in which Draupadi fasted for the long life of her husbands. According to this story, when the Pandavas were in exile, Draupadi wished for the long life of her husbands from Lord Shri Krishna. Shri Krishna advised her to observe the fast of Karva Chauth. Draupadi performed this fast with complete devotion and faith, which strengthened the way for the victory of the Pandavas and their return. Through this fast, Draupadi showed her faith and love, which is still practiced by married women today. It is said that during their exile, Lord Ram came here with Mother Sita and brother Lakshman and performed a secret puja of Maa Vindhyavasini.
