The month of Vaishakha, also known as the 'month of charity,' is considered highly auspicious in Hinduism. This period follows Holi and Chaitra Navratri and extends through the months of Vaishakha and Jyeshtha. The time from mid-April to June is regarded as ideal for auspicious events like marriage, as during this period, Jupiter (Brihaspati) and Venus (Shukra) are generally in favorable positions. Moreover, this time is free from astrological periods like Chaturmas, Pitru Paksha, and Malmas, making it especially auspicious for religious rituals. In such cases, performing remedies on the Ekadashi tithi during Vaishakha month is considered highly auspicious and effective for overcoming these obstacles.
