There is another interesting story behind the west facing of the Devark temple, in which it is told that a robber named Kalapahad reached Deo while destroying the temples. The priests of the temple prayed to him not to destroy this temple as it was of great importance. Kalapahad placed a condition that if the temple changes its direction, he will not destroy it. For this reason, the face of the temple turned towards the west. The architecture of the Deo Temple built in Nagara style is worth seeing. The Shikhara, Amalaka, and sanctum of the temple makes it a unique example of Indian temple architecture. It is believed that no seeker has ever returned empty-handed from this temple.
