Kartik Ekadashi 101KG Annadanam Seva to Needy in Puri
Why Perform Annadanam Seva on Rama Ekadashi?
Rama is another name for Maa Lakshmi, the one who removes all scarcity. The Ekadashi that carries her name is the most powerful day in the year to destroy scarcity not just your own, but someone else’s too. The Puranas describe Ekadashi worship as incomplete without feeding the needy, making Anna Seva not an addition to this day’s observance but an essential part of it. And Rama Ekadashi falls during Kartik month - the month the Puranas describe as most dear to Lord Vishnu, multiplying every act of seva performed within it.
Why perform Seva in Puri?
In the sacred land of Puri, it is believed that Lord Jagannath himself comes to partake in every meal offered with love. Anna Seva performed here on Rama Ekadashi does not simply feed the hungry. It is received by the one who has never turned anyone away from his table.
Through Sri Mandir, the complete 101KG Annadanam Seva is performed for the needy at Puri on Rama Ekadashi, in your name. A video reaches you within 24–48 hours.
