Vrindavan Chandrodaya Temple is an upcoming and iconic Hindu temple located in Vrindavan, in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Once completed, it will be the tallest temple in the world, with a height of 700 feet. The temple is being built on 26 acres of land and will become a major spiritual and tourist destination in the future. It is dedicated to Lord Krishna and will host various religious festivals throughout the year.
The foundation stone of Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir was laid in 2014 by the then President of India, Pranab Mukherjee.
The construction is still in progress and is expected to be completed between 2024 and 2025.
Once completed, the temple will be open to all devotees of Lord Krishna.
A special capsule elevator will be installed to take visitors to the top of the temple, offering panoramic views of Braj Mandal.
The total cost of the project is estimated at around 300 crores, making it one of the most expensive temples in the world.
