🪔 How did Mahaveer Barbarik became Shri Khatu Shyam?
Mahaveer Barbarik possessed three infallible arrows and took a vow: he would always support the weaker side in any battle. Hearing this vow, Bhagwan Shri Krishna visited him in the guise of a sage. Krishna understood that if Barbarik joined the Mahabharata war, protecting dharma would become difficult.To uphold dharma, Krishna asked Barbarik for his head as a sacred offering. Barbarik smiled and offered it without hesitation. Pleased by this incredible sacrifice, Krishna blessed him:
“In Kaliyug, you will be worshipped in my name - Shyam. Whoever remembers you with a true heart will have their wishes fulfilled."
