World's Biggest Shani Temple - Shani Saade Saati Peeda Shanti Mahapuja and Til Tel Abhishek for Prevention of Misfortunes and Adversities

The Shani Shingnapur Temple in Maharashtra is considered the world's largest Shani temple. This temple of Lord Shani is known as the 'Jagrut Devasthan', meaning Shani Dev himself resides here in the form of a stone idol. This is why the houses in the village of Shingnapur have no doors. It is said that theft never occurs in this village, and if anyone attempts theft, Shani Dev himself punishes them. It is believed that performing worship in this temple on Saturdays helps in alleviating the effects of Shani dosha. The Shani Saade Saati Peeda Shanti Mahapuja and Til Tel Abhishek will be organised on May 18, 2024 at Shree Shanidev Temple, Shani Shingnapur. Participate in this puja through Sri Mandir and receive blessing from Shanidev.

Shree Shanidev Temple,Shani Shingnapur, Maharashtra
The Shani Shingnapur Temple is nestled in Ahmednagar, 65 kilometres away from Shirdi. Lord Shanidev is worshipped at this temple. The deity here is "Swayambhu" which means that it has self emerged from earth in the form of black, imposing stone. The temple is believed to be a "jagrut devasthan", meaning that a deity still resides in the temple.

Apart from the temple, Shingnapur is a small village known for the fact that there are no doors on any house in the entire village, yet there is no theft in the village. It is believed that the village is protected by Lord Shani, and thieves cannot steal in the protected village, and anyone who attempts theft receives divine punishment. Lord Shani bestows special blessings on the devotees who worship here.
