Located on the banks of the Shipra River in Ujjain, the Shri Navgraha Shani Mandir was established by King Vikramaditya around 2,500 years ago, after he attained relief from Shani’s Sade Sati (seven-and-a-half-year period). In this temple, Lord Shani is enshrined in the form of Lord Shiva, and there is also a dedicated Navgraha Shanti Mandal (circle for planetary peace).
