This temple is also deeply connected to the Mahabharata period. Before the Mahabharata war, the Pandavas came here with Lord Shri Krishna, worshipped Maa Bhadrakali, and wished for victory. When their wish was fulfilled, they offered their horses to the Mother as a mark of gratitude. This tradition is still alive today, where devotees offer horses made of silver, clay, or other metals after their wishes are fulfilled.
