Maa Vindhyavasini Temple, Mirzapur: Situated on Vindhya hills, one of India’s 51 Shaktipeeths. Believed Sati’s left big toe fell here. Goddess is worshipped in her awakened form and called Mahishasur Mardini. Mentioned in Shiva Purana; Lord Ram also visited for worship. Some believe Maa Vindhyavasini is Yogmaya, sister of Krishna.
Shaktipeeth Mahalakshmi Ambabai – The Shri Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple, located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, is one of India’s most prominent Shaktipeeths. According to the ancient legend, the two eyes of Goddess Sati fell at this place, and since then, Maa Lakshmi has been enshrined here. The idol of Maa Lakshmi, present in this temple which is over 7,000 years old, is considered divine and miraculous. Twice a year, the rays of the sun fall directly on the feet of Maa Lakshmi, and during this period, the festival of Kiranotsav is celebrated at the temple.
Maa Katyayani Temple, Vrindavan: Believed Sati’s hair fell here. Maa Katyayani (Parvati) is worshipped. Established by devotee Keshwanand Maharaj. Also known as Uma Devi Shaktipeeth.

Mangala Gauri Shaktipeeth, Gaya: Here, the breasts of Devi Sati fell on the Bhasmakoot mountain in Gaya and turned into two stones where Maa Mangla Gauri resides.
