🚩Why is Lord Hanuman called Sankatmochan? 💪🙏✨
Lord Hanuman is referred to as Sankatmochan due to his role in removing obstacles, especially when his revered Lord Ram faced difficulties. According to the Valmiki Ramayana, when Lord Ram’s brother Lakshman fell unconscious, Hanuman decided to bring the Sanjeevani herb. To hinder Hanuman, Ravana sent a demon named Kalnemi in the guise of a Brahmin to mislead him. However, using his intellect, Hanuman killed the demon Kalnemi and brought the Sanjeevani herb in time to save Lakshman’s life. This is why Lord Hanuman is known as Sankatmochan, the one who removes obstacles.
