🚩 A unique opportunity to receive blessings from 8 sacred temples on the 8 Bada Mangal – through 100 Hanuman Chalisa recitations and Sindoor Chola offering, gain strength, protection, and victory over all obstacles. 🙏

The sacred Tuesdays of the month of Jyeshtha are considered highly auspicious for the worship of Lord Hanuman. These are known as Bada Mangal. During this time, every ritual performed holds the power to bring positive transformation in a devotee’s life. When repeated obstacles arise, confidence weakens, or the path ahead feels unclear, devotion to Lord Hanuman becomes a strong support, granting inner strength, courage, and guidance.

This year, there are 8 Bada Mangal due to the occurrence of an Adhik Maas (extra lunar month), whereas typically there are 4 or 5. Keeping this rare occurrence in mind, a special ritual has been organized. On each Bada Mangal, worship will be performed at a different Hanuman temple. Thus, across all 8 Tuesdays, the puja will be conducted in 8 powerful and sacred Hanuman temples, allowing devotees to receive the unique blessings of each temple.

🚩 These 8 Sacred Temples Include:
Hanuman Garhi Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Mayapati Hanuman Temple (Madhya Pradesh)
Bade Hanuman Temple (Madhya Pradesh)
Ekadash Mukhi Hanuman Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Dakshinamukhi Hanuman Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Aliganj Hanuman Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Narasimha Hanuman Temple (Delhi)
Hanuman Dhara Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Each of these temples is renowned for its unique significance, making this entire ritual even more powerful.

🌸 Sindoor Offering Significance
On every Bada Mangal, Sindoor Abhishek and Chola offering will be performed to Lord Hanuman. It is believed that offering sindoor pleases Hanuman Ji immensely and blesses devotees with strength, courage, and protection.

🚩 Why is Sindoor offered to Hanuman Ji?
According to a popular legend, Hanuman Ji once saw Mata Sita applying sindoor in her hair parting. Upon asking the reason, she said it was for Lord Ram’s long life and well-being. Deeply moved, Hanuman Ji applied sindoor all over his body to please Lord Ram even more. Pleased by his devotion, Lord Ram blessed him. Since then, offering sindoor to Hanuman Ji became a sacred tradition, especially on Bada Mangal.

🌸 Hanuman Chalisa Recitation
Along with the Sindoor offering, 100 recitations of Hanuman Chalisa will be performed on each Bada Mangal. The Hanuman Chalisa holds immense spiritual significance, and its recitation on such auspicious days is believed to multiply its benefits.
It is said:
“Sankat Kate Mite Sab Peera”
Meaning: By Hanuman Ji’s grace, all troubles and sufferings are removed.

Imagine the power of this ritual when performed every Tuesday throughout the month, across different sacred temples, with proper rituals. This is not just a ritual but a divine opportunity to invite strength, protection, and success into your life.
Through Sri Mandir, you can participate in this special anushthan with your name and sankalp and receive Lord Hanuman’s blessings. 🙏

Hanuman Garhi Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
This temple is considered one of the most prominent places of worship of Lord Hanuman. According to mythology, this is the place where Lord Ram granted Hanuman Ji a residence after the victory over Lanka. Offering a red chola here is believed to relieve devotees from all doshas. The continuously burning lamp is seen as a symbol of Hanuman Ji’s divine presence.

Mayapati Hanuman Temple (Madhya Pradesh)
Here, Lord Hanuman is worshipped in his “Mayapati” form. According to the Ramayana, when Lakshman was injured during the Lanka war and Hanuman Ji was on his way to bring the Sanjeevani herb, Ravana sent the demon Kalnemi to stop him. Disguised as a sage, Kalnemi tried to deceive Hanuman Ji, but Hanuman recognized the illusion and defeated him. After this, the gods bestowed upon him the title “Mayapati.” A south-facing idol is situated here, and worship is believed to remove suffering.

Bade Hanuman Temple (Madhya Pradesh)
Also known as the Patal Hanuman Temple, this ancient shrine is believed to be associated with the Mahabharata era. It is located in Omkareshwar on Omkar Parvat (Mandhata island) in the Gauri Somnath region. It is believed that after defeating Ahiravana in the netherworld and rescuing Lord Ram and Lakshman, Hanuman Ji rested here. The temple is around 600 years old and holds great importance for Narmada Parikrama devotees.

Ekadash Mukhi Hanuman Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Located in Prayagraj, this temple houses a rare 11-faced idol of Lord Hanuman. It is considered a sacred pilgrimage site where devotees come for relief from life’s problems. The eleven faces symbolize Hanuman Ji’s multiple divine powers guiding devotees in all aspects of life.

Dakshinamukhi Hanuman Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Situated in the Jhunsi area of Prayagraj near Samudrakup and the sacred Triveni Sangam, this south-facing Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple is a renowned pilgrimage site. Worship here is believed to remove fear, enemy troubles, and vastu-related issues. It attracts large numbers of devotees, especially during the Kumbh Mela.

Aliganj Hanuman Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
Located in the Aliganj area of Lucknow, this ancient temple is a major center of faith. Devotees offer prayers here with deep devotion on every Tuesday of the Jyeshtha month. According to belief, this place is linked to the Ramayana period, when Lord Ram instructed Lakshman and Hanuman Ji while taking Mata Sita to Valmiki Ashram, and they halted here.

Narasimha Hanuman Temple (Delhi)
Situated in Chandni Chowk, this temple is also known as the Siddh Peeth “Patthar Wale Hanuman Baba” Temple. It is dedicated to both Lord Hanuman and Lord Narasimha and symbolizes courage, protection, and the destruction of evil. It is believed to be over 300 years old and originated when a self-manifested idol of Hanuman Ji was discovered beneath a sacred Peepal tree during the Mughal period.

Hanuman Dhara Temple (Uttar Pradesh)
This temple is situated atop a large rock and requires climbing steep steps to reach. According to mythology, after returning from Lanka after setting it ablaze, Hanuman Ji came here, where Lord Ram calmed his anger. Nearby, there are also temples dedicated to Lord Ram, Mata Sita, and Lakshman.
