🪔 Shraddh Purnima, also known as Sarvapitri Amavasya, is considered the most important day to offer tarpan and seek the blessings of your ancestors. 🕉️ In this ritual, Tripindi Shraddh and Pind Daan are special Vedic ceremonies performed for the peace and liberation of ancestral souls. During Tripindi Shraddh, three symbolic offerings (pinds) made of sesame seeds, rice, and sacred grass are offered for three generations: father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. It is believed this satisfies the ancestors' souls and brings their blessings to the family.
