🌙 The Divine Story of Krishna Janmashtami:
Lord Krishna was born in a prison in Mathura, where His uncle, King Kamsa, imprisoned His parents, Vasudev and Devaki. Upon hearing the prophecy that the eighth child of Devaki would bring about his death, Kamsa locked them in a cell. When Krishna was born, Vasudev took Him to Gokul, where He was raised by Nand and Yashoda. The significance of Krishna Janmashtami lies not just in the celebration of His birth but in honoring His eternal teachings and divine presence. The Maha Abhishek performed on this day involves bathing Lord Krishna with Panchamrit (milk, honey, ghee, curd, and sugar), which symbolizes His divine essence and brings blessings of prosperity, peace, and mental calmness.
