Pleased by Lord Vishnu's intense penance, Shri Vidya manifested as Maa Bagalamukhi, annihilated the demon, protected all beings, and saved the Earth from destruction. Since then, Bagalamukhi Jayanti has been regarded as the most auspicious occasion for the worship and spiritual practice (sadhana) of Maa Bagalamukhi. Her worship is considered especially powerful because she is believed to be the goddess of enemy destruction, crisis resolution, and divine protection. The day of Bagalamukhi Jayanti is especially significant for receiving Maa Bagalamukhi’s divine grace, and it is considered the most favorable time to seek her blessings.
