Vishram Ghat, located on the banks of the Yamuna in Vrindavan, is one of the most sacred and important ghats. It is associated with several mythological events. It is believed that Yamaraj and his sister Yamuna bathed together here, which led to the tradition of Bhai Dooj. It is also believed that Lord Krishna rested at this ghat after defeating Kansa, which is why it is called “Vishram Ghat.”
