What Exactly is Manglik Dosha? 😲
The Mangalnath Mahadev Temple, located in the sacred city of Ujjain, holds significant religious importance. According to tales, this temple is considered the birthplace of the planet Mars (Mangal). It is said that during a fierce battle between Lord Shiva and the demon Andhakasura, a drop of Lord Shiva’s sweat fell to the earth, giving birth to the planet Mars. Following this, Mars absorbed all the blood from Andhakasura’s body, turning red in colour. At this very spot, the gods established a Shivling, which came to be known as Mangalnath Mahadev.
