3 Powerful Shakti Peethas, One Sacred Experience Durga Lakshmi Kali Sampurna Suraksha 12 Brahman Maha Yagya For Triple-Goddess Shield Against Negativity

In Sanatan Dharma, the sacred festival of Durga Ashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami Tithi of the Shukla Paksha of every month. According to scriptures, worshiping the divine forms of Goddess Durga, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Kali on this day is considered highly auspicious and fruitful. It is believed that invoking these three goddesses on Masik Durga Ashtami blesses an individual with protection and liberation from negative energies. If these rituals are performed at the revered Shaktipeethas dedicated to the three goddesses, their impact multiplies manifold.

With this devotion and faith, for the first time, Sri Mandir is organizing, the Durga Lakshmi Kali Sampurna Suraksha 12 Brahmin Maha Yagya on the sacred occasion of Masik Durga Ashtami at three prominent Shaktipeethas in India – the Shaktipeeth Lalita Mata Temple, Mahalakshmi Ambabai Shaktipeeth Temple, and Kalighat Shaktipeeth Temple. These Shaktipeethas are among the most renowned temples dedicated to Goddess Durga, Goddess Lakshmi, and Goddess Kali. Let us explore the significance of these Shaktipeethas:

Shaktipeeth Lalita Mata Temple: Located in Prayagraj, the Lalita Devi Temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. Here, the goddess is worshiped in three divine forms. This temple is situated near the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. According to the Devi Purana, this is the site where the finger of Goddess Sati fell, leading to the manifestation of Goddess Lalita Devi.

Shaktipeeth Maa Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple: Situated in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, the Shri Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple is one of the prominent Shaktipeeths in India. According to legend, the two eyes of Goddess Sati fell at this location, and since then, Goddess Lakshmi has been enshrined here. The idol of Goddess Lakshmi, believed to be over 7,000 years old, is considered divine and miraculous.

Shaktipeeth Kalighat Temple: Located in Kolkata, West Bengal, the Kalighat Temple is among the 51 Shaktipeeths and is regarded as an immensely significant pilgrimage site. Dedicated to Goddess Kali, the temple honors the goddess of power, energy, and destruction. Ancient tales recount that the toe of Goddess Sati’s right foot fell here when Lord Shiva was performing the cosmic Tandava dance with her body.

It is believed that participating in this special ritual dedicated to the three goddesses on the auspicious occasion of Masik Durga Ashtami bestows a divine protective shield against negativity. Participate in this puja through Sri Mandir and receive the blessings for the Triple-Goddess shield against negativity.

The Maa Lalita Devi Temple in Prayagraj is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Here, the devi is worshipped in three forms. The temple is located near the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers meet. According to legend, Maa Lalita Devi manifested where the finger of Sati's hand fell. This place is renowned as one of the 51 Shakti Peethas. Known as Tripura Sundari, Maa Lalita Devi's temple holds special significance for devotees of Shakti, as it is among the 51 Shakti Peethas. It is believed that after bathing in the Sangam, all the desires of the devotees who visit Maa Lalita Devi are fulfilled. Not only that, but any ritual performed in the presence of the Maa is never in vain. The construction of Lalita Maata Temple is based on the Sri Yantra. The temple has undergone several renovations, with the last renovation taking place in 1987. The idol of Maa Lalita in the temple is very attractive and magnificent, symbolising power. Several festivals are celebrated here every year, especially during Navratri, when thousands of devotees come for the Maa’s darshan. During the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela, the Maata Lalita Devi Temple becomes a special attraction for devotees.

Shri Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple located in Kolhapur, Maharashtra is one of the major Shakti Peethas of India. According to the legend, two eyes of Goddess Sati fell at this place, since then Goddess Lakshmi resides here. The idol of Goddess Lakshmi enshrined in this temple which is more than 7000 years old is considered divine and miraculous. Twice a year the sun's rays reach directly at the feet of Goddess Lakshmi. During this period, the Kirnotsav festival is celebrated here. Goddess Lakshmi, seated in this temple, destroys financial constraints and poverty in the homes, families, and businesses of her devotees. It is said that by worshipping in this temple with true heart, Goddess Lakshmi fulfils all the wishes of her devotees. This is the reason why the worship performed at Shri Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple is more important for maintaining economic prosperity.

The Kalighat Temple, located in Kolkata, West Bengal, is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in Hinduism and is considered a highly significant pilgrimage site. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali, revered as the deity of power, energy, and destruction. According to mythological tales, it is believed that here, the right toe of Goddess Sati fell when Lord Shiva was carrying her burnt body and performing the Tandava dance in grief. For this reason, this place is included among the extremely sacred 51 Shakti Peethas. The temple houses an idol of Goddess Kali in a fierce form, where she is seen standing with her right foot on Lord Shiva's chest, adorned with a garland of soft skulls around his neck, holding some axes and severed heads in her hands, with some skulls tied around her waist. Her tongue is protruding outward with drops of blood dripping from it, made of gold.
