Shravan Shiv-Ganga Special 1100 Shivlinga Pranpratishtha Partheshwar Pujan and Ganga Visarjan For Mental Stability & Abundance of Wealth

👉First Time Ever - SriMandir to conduct a puja in the middle of the Holy Ganga River🙏

Lord Shiva is known as 'Devo ke Dev Mahadev' (the God of Gods). According to scriptures and Puranas, the month of Shravan is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Worshipping Lord Shiva during this period is believed to quickly fulfil all desires. This is why, from the beginning of the holy month of Shravan, devotees immerse themselves in pleasing Lord Mahadev by following various rituals, among which the worship of the Parthiv Shiva Lingam holds immense importance. The Vedas and Puranas emphasise the significance of worshipping the Parthiv Shivling. According to the Shiv Puran, devotees who perform Partheshwar Pujan always receive the blessings of Lord Shiva. Worshipping the Parthiv Shivling brings the blessings of wealth, prosperity, and good health. It also provides liberation from mental and physical sufferings.

It is believed that Shani Dev, one of the Navagrahas, also performed a special worship by creating a Parthiv Shivling in Kashi to gain more power than his father, Surya Dev. Scriptures suggest that Parthiv Shivlings should always be made from the sacred mud and sand found on the banks of holy rivers like the Ganga. Just as the month of Shravan is dear to Lord Shiva, similarly, Mondays in this month are especially dear to him. Therefore, the 1100 Shivlinga Pranpratishtha Partheshwar Pujan will be performed in the sacred city of Kashi during the auspicious month of Shravan on Monday. The Parthiv Shivlings will be made, and the entire puja will be performed on a boat in the middle of the sacred Ganga. After the puja, all the Shivlings will be immersed in the Ganga River, known as Ganga Visarjan in Sanatan Dharma. Participate in this special puja through Sri Mandir and receive the divine blessings of Lord Shiva.

Ganga Ghat, Kashi, Uttar Pradesh

Ganga Ghat, Kashi, Uttar Pradesh
Kashi, also known as Banaras or Varanasi, is situated on the banks of the Ganga River in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is believed to be the oldest city in the world and is considered the abode of Lord Shiva. The ghats of Varanasi hold great reverence in Hinduism, with around 84 ghats significantly enhancing the city's religious significance. Pilgrims from all corners of India and beyond flock to these ghats to bathe in the holy waters of the Ganga river. A holy dip in the Ganga during auspicious times or on specific days of religious significance is believed to bring immense blessings and pave the way towards spiritual liberation.

According to Hindu mythology, Rishi Bhagiratha performed penance for his ancestors to attain Moksha. After his tireless efforts, Goddess Ganga arrived on earth. However, her speed was so fast that if she had fallen directly on the earth, it would have caused a disaster, and she would have gone to the netherworld. To avoid this situation, Bhagiratha prayed to Lord Shiva. Upon Bhagiratha's earnest prayers, Lord Shiva gathered Ganga in his Jata (locks). Subsequently, Maa Ganga descended to earth via Kailash and saved Bhagiratha's ancestors. Hence, Lord Shiva is also known as Gangadhar. The Ganga Ghats, therefore, are not only places for ritual bathing but also serve as sacred spaces for worshipping Lord Shiva. Devotees offer prayers, perform aarti, and meditate, seeking his blessings for health, prosperity, and spiritual growth.
