To calm him, Lord Shiva took the powerful form of Sharabha, and from Sharabha’s third eye emerged Maa Pratyangira, a lion-faced, winged goddess mirroring Narasimha’s form but embodying controlled divine power. When she appeared before Narasimha, her presence softened his rage, restored balance and protected creation. Because of this divine union, worshipping Maa Pratyangira and Lord Narasimha together is believed to create one of the strongest spiritual shields against evil eye, black magic, hidden enemies and unseen obstacles.
