Mayapati Hanuman Temple: A famous pilgrimage site located in Ujjain, which is called the city of Mahakal, is Mayapati Hanuman Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Here Hanuman Ji is worshipped in the form of Mayapati. According to Ramayana, at the time of the Lanka war when Lakshman Ji was injured and Hanuman Ji was going to bring the Sanjivani herb, Ravana sent a demon named Kalnemi to stop him. Kalnemi tried to confuse Hanuman Ji by taking the form of a Brahmin, but Hanuman Ji recognized his illusion and defeated him. After this, the deities gave the title of “Mayapati” to Hanuman Ji. Navagraha Temple: The Navagraha Shani Temple located in Dabra (Gwalior) has special significance because it is considered part of Asia's first large Navagraha complex, where all nine planets are established at a single place.
