It was during this powerful time that Devi Durga became furious at the demons Chanda and Munda. From her forehead, the fierce and powerful form of Maa Mahakali appeared. With her divine strength, she destroyed the demons and brought peace to the world. After defeating many demons, Maa Kali faced a unique challenge in Raktabija. This demon had a boon that every drop of his blood that fell to the ground would create another demon just like him. This is similar to the problems in our lives like debt, legal cases, or career obstacles that seem to multiply endlessly. Maa Kali, in her divine wisdom, stretched out her tongue and drank every drop of Raktabija's blood before it could touch the earth, ending his terror forever.
