🌑 Why is the rare combination of this day special? This occasion becomes special as Pitru Paksha, Saturday and Rahu Nakshatra come together. Pitru Paksha is associated with remembering ancestors and offering Tarpan, Saturday is associated with Shani worship, and Rahu Nakshatra is associated with Rahu worship. This combination gives the puja a unique spiritual focus. 🕉️ Why is this spiritual practice considered important for Pitru Dosh? In Vedic astrology, Pitru Dosh is considered an important astrological concern in the birth chart. It is associated with ancestral karmas and is traditionally linked with repeated obstacles, instability or unexpected situations in life. This puja is dedicated to praying for peace and relief from such concerns. 📿 What do 18,000 Rahu Mantra Jaap add to the puja? In astrological traditions, Rahu is associated with uncertainty, sudden changes and complicated situations. Therefore, 18,000 Rahu Mantra Jaap form a special part of this ritual, offering prayers for peace and clarity regarding Rahu-related influences. 🪔 Why are 23,000 Shani Mantra Jaap included? On this special Saturday, 23,000 Shani Mantra Jaap focus on worshipping Shani Dev and praying for peace from astrological influences associated with Shani. This practice completes another important aspect of the puja. 🙏 How does Pitru Tarpan complete this spiritual practice? Pitru Tarpan performed along with Rahu and Shani Mantra Jaap is a traditional way of expressing respect and gratitude towards ancestors. This makes the ritual more than a planetary peace ritual, connecting it with the intention of honouring ancestors. 🔱 Why is combining Rahu and Shani worship considered special? Two separate mantra practices are included for two different astrological concerns — 18,000 Jaap for Rahu and 23,000 Jaap for Shani. Along with Pitru Tarpan, this becomes a combined ritual centred on praying for peace from Pitru Dosh. How Do Rahu Paithani and Navgrah Shani Temple, Ujjain Make This Puja Special? Rahu Paithani Temple in Pauri is considered an important religious site associated with the worship of Rahu, while Navgrah Shani Temple in Ujjain holds special significance for Shani worship. Performing dedicated Rahu and Shani rituals along with Pitru Tarpan at these two sacred sites makes this combined ritual especially significant. ✨ How does the scale of this ritual make it different from a regular puja? 18,000 Rahu Mantra Jaap, 23,000 Shani Mantra Jaap and Pitru Tarpan bring three different spiritual practices together under one sankalp.
