Achaman, Pranayama, and purification will be performed, followed by Sankalp for the Shraddha with the recitation of the Gotra, the ancestor's name, and the purpose of the ritual.
Dev Pujan, Vishnu Smaran & Pitru Invocation
Dev Pujan and Vishnu Smaran will be performed, followed by the invocation of the concerned ancestors.
Til-Jal Tarpan & Pind Preparation
Tarpan will be offered using sesame seeds and water. Pinds will then be prepared using rice or Akshat, sesame seeds, ghee, honey, and other ingredients according to tradition.
Pind Sthapana, Offering & Pitru Tarpan
Pinds will be offered in the names and Gotras of the ancestors included in the Sankalp. Sesame seeds, Kusha grass, and water will be offered over the Pinds, followed by Pitru Tarpan and prayers for the ancestors.
Shraddha Offerings, Brahmin Pujan & Meal
Food and other offerings will be made for the ancestors, followed by Brahmin Pujan and a meal according to tradition.
