On the day of Mahanavami, 108 Kanya Pujan has special significance, which is considered a divine symbol of the end of Navratri. On this day, 108 girls will be fed at the Shri Navdurga Temple located on the hills of Katra and the tradition of honoring them will be followed. Considering the girls as a form of Devi Durga, new clothes, food and gifts etc. are given to them. This puja is especially famous for getting merit and blessings. At the same time, this ritual can provide a direction for prosperity, peace and happiness and success in life. This temple in Katra is dedicated to the 9 forms of Mother Durga, where devotees have darshan of all the forms from Maa Shailputri to Maa Siddhidatri in one place and find the right direction for a happy life.
