Vaishakha month, also known as the ‘Daan Maas’ (month of charity), holds great spiritual significance in Hinduism. It follows Holi and Chaitra Navratri and continues through the months of Vaishakha and Jyeshtha. The period from mid-April to June is considered highly auspicious for sacred events like marriages, as the planets Jupiter (Guru) and Venus (Shukra) are in favorable positions. This season is also free from astrological limitations such as Chaturmas, Pitru Paksha, and Malmas, making it especially sacred for religious ceremonies. However, if Jupiter is weak or afflicted in a person’s horoscope, even this favorable time may not yield desired outcomes in marriage.
