Lord Vishnu then performed intense penance at Haridra Sarovar, a sacred lake filled with yellow water. Pleased by his devotion, Maa Bagalamukhi emerged, silenced the demon, and restored balance to the cosmos. Since then, she has been worshipped as the Goddess of victory, justice, and enemy destruction. She is also revered as Vijay Dayini, the divine force who grants victory in all aspects of life, be it spiritual, personal, or legal. Maa Bagalamukhi is revered for her power to control the speech, intellect, and actions of adversaries. Her worship is believed to bring success in legal matters, protection from enemies, and favorable outcomes in disputes.
