During the war in Lanka, Hanuman Ji revealed his Sankat Mochan form when Lakshman Ji fell unconscious by the power of Meghnad’s weapon. Lord Ram was distressed, and the entire army felt helpless. At that critical moment, Hanuman Ji showed immense courage and flew to Mount Dronagiri to bring the Sanjeevani herb. Ravan sent the demon Kalanemi in disguise to mislead him, but Hanuman recognized the deceit, defeated him, and continued his mission. Unable to identify the exact herb, Hanuman Ji carried the entire mountain back and revived Lakshman Ji. From then on, he came to be worshipped as Sankat Mochan—the one who removes every crisis with courage and devotion.
