On the sixth day of Navratri, Ashwina Shukla Shashthi, we worship her powerful form. She fought the demon for nine days and finally defeated him, restoring peace to the universe. This story reminds us that no matter how big the problem, the divine Devi's strength is greater. This powerful puja brings together three of the most formidable divine energies. When Maa Durga's anger reached its peak during her battles, it is said that from her forehead emerged the fierce form of Maa Kali. Maa Kali is the raw, untamed power of the goddess, who destroys evil without mercy to protect her children. Alongside the goddesses is Lord Bhairav, the fierce form of Lord Shiva, who is the guardian of all Shaktipeethas.
