📜 According to the Mahabharata, Vana Parva while the Pandavas were in exile, Yudhisthira prayed to Surya for a way to feed the many sages who visited them. Surya gifted them the Akshaya Patra, a copper vessel that would provide an inexhaustible supply of food every day until Draupadi finished her meal. It is said that this vessel was granted on Akshaya Tritiya.
