Pitru Paksha Gaya Ji Pitru Mukti 101KG Khichdi Bhojan Seva

At Dharmaranya Vedi in Gaya Ji, one of the most sacred Pinda Sthanas in Hinduism, revered in the Garuda Purana as a powerful Pitru Teertha - 101KG of Khichdi will be cooked and offered in your ancestor’s name.
What your ancestor carried for you was never asked to be repaid. Every sacrifice, every silent hunger, everything they gave up so you could have more, they did without keeping count. But during these 16 days, they are believed to be close enough to receive what you offer. And the simplest thing you can give them is the one thing Karna forgot.

Why Pitru Paksha Exist: The Story of Unanswered Hunger
Karna gave gold, jewels, and land to the entire world but never once offered food or water to his ancestors. When he reached Swarga, Indra placed a feast before him. Everything on the plate was gold. Everything in the vessel was silver. None of it was edible. Indra told him: you gave to everyone except them. Indra gave Karna 16 days to return to earth and offer what he had forgotten. Those 16 days became Pitru Paksha - the 16 days every year when the gates of Pitru Lok open and descendants are given the same chance. To feed the hunger that was never addressed.

Why 101KG Khichdi?
The Manu Smriti teaches that the ancestor receives not the food itself but its essence - the Kavya, through every person who is fed. 101 people fed is 101 simultaneous channels through which your offering reaches your ancestor at the same moment, from the same sacred ground. Khichdi is not a small offering. It is the most sattvic, most complete of foods, the thing Karna should have offered. The thing your ancestor has been waiting to receive.

Why Dharmaranya Vedi, Gaya Ji
The Garuda Purana declares: no spot in Gaya is not a Tirtha. Every offering made here is received as Seva at Vishnu's own feet, on the ground where Vishnu pressed the demon Gayasur into the earth and in that single act of grace, granted him liberation. Food offered here does not merely feed the hungry, it reaches your ancestor.

Through the Sri Mandir App, the complete 101KG Khichdi Bhojan Seva is performed at Dharmaranya Vedi during Pitru Paksha, in your name. A video reaches you within 24–48 hours.
