Moved by her longing, Lord Jagannath puts the Agyan Mala, marking His garland of consent, promising to return in three days. This moment marks the beginning of Bahuda Yatra, the Lord's return journey home. Before leaving, Devi Lakshmi orders the symbolic breaking of Jagannath's chariot Nandighosha, known as Ratha Bhanga.
