Pitru Paksha Navami, Dashami & Ekadashi 3 Pitru Mukti Teerth Brahmin Seva

The second half of Pitru Paksha carries its own weight. As the moon moves toward Amavasya and the window begins to narrow, three tithis stand out - Navami, Dashami, and Ekadashi, each one addressing a different and specific dimension of the ancestor's journey. Together they form the heart of Pitru Paksha's deepest offering. Across these three tithis, Brahmin Seva will be performed at three Moksha Teerths, one chosen specifically for each tithi's significance ensuring your ancestor is reached at every critical juncture of the journey's second half.

🔱 3 Mahatithis - Three Dimensions of the Journey
Navami | Bindhu Sarovar, Siddhpur | 4 October 2026
Matru Navami is the one tithi in all of Pitru Paksha specifically dedicated to the maternal lineage, women ancestors whose Shraddh most families have never performed separately. Bindhu Sarovar is Matru Gaya, the one Teertha in all of Hinduism prescribed specifically for maternal ancestors where Sage Kapila performed ancestral rites for his mother Devahuti and Parashuram performed Matru Shraddh for Renuka.
Dashami | Rameshwaram Ghat | 5 October 2026
The Garuda Purana describes Dashami as the tithi by which the ancestor's subtle Pinda-body reaches completion, the moment the soul's subtle form is fully formed in the ancestral realm. It is a critical threshold in the ancestor's journey, and Rameshwaram, the southern supreme Pitru Teertha where Shiva and Vishnu's grace converge and where Rama himself performed Shraddh is the location the tradition aligns with this crossing.
Ekadashi | Ganga Ghat, Haridwar | 6 October 2026
Ekadashi belongs to Vishnu - Pitru-Moksha-Pradah, the ultimate provider of ancestral Moksha. It is the final dedicated tithi before Sarv Pitru Amavasya, making it the last opportunity to perform a tithi-specific offering before the window closes. Haridwar is Vishnu's own city, the gateway where Maa Ganga first touches the plains, the sacred river that answered Bhagiratha's tapasya and freed his 60,000 ancestors.

Through Sri Mandir, Brahmin Seva is performed at all 3 locations on their respective tithis, in your name. A video of each Seva reaches you within 24–48 hours.
