🕉️ According to Brahmanda Purana, A powerful asura named Muran disturbed the gods and even challenged Vishnu. During the battle, Vishnu rested briefly in Badarikashrama. Muran tried to attack Him, but a divine female energy emerged from Vishnu’s body and destroyed Muran instantly.
Vishnu named her:
“Ekadashi”- the Devi who removes sins and destroys inner enemies.”
