Some burdens aren't yours to carry, yet you feel them every day. Strained relationships, repeated failures, unexplained suffering. What weighs on your present often has its roots in the past, in the unsettled souls of those who came before you.
And when the weight of ancestors calls for relief, only one force in the universe can truly grant it i.e, Narayana, the giver of Moksha, the one who liberates souls across lifetimes.
Why is Adhik Maas unlike any other?
Also known as Purushottam Maas is no ordinary month, it is the most sacred month in the Hindu calendar. When this extra month came to exist and no deity accepted it as their own, Shri Vishnu Himself claimed it, named it after Himself, and declared it the most auspicious of all. This is, in its truest sense, Narayana's own month, a direct channel to His grace.
And the scriptures leave no doubt about what this month can do for you.
The Padma Purana declares - "Whoever sincerely worships Vishnu during Adhik Maas attains liberation (moksha) and divine bliss."
The Skanda Purana goes further, affirming that this sacred month has the power to cleanse lifetimes of accumulated karma, not just this life, but across births.
And according to the Bhavishya Purana, even simple acts of devotion performed during Purushottam Maas carry the merit of a full yajna, which makes this timing perfect for bringing ancestral peace.
Why Vishnu Pad Vedi, Gaya?
And if the month is the most powerful window, Gaya is the most powerful door. Vishnu Pad Vedi in Gaya is where Shri Hari's divine footprints rest upon the earth, the holiest ground for Pind Daan, recognized across all scriptures. It is here that Lord Vishnu subdued the mighty demon Gayasura, sealing this land forever as the premier site of ancestral liberation.
Purushottam Maas, known as the karma cleansing month, will bring renewed clarity, protection, and stability into your life!
