In the intense summer heat of Jyeshtha, many pilgrims spend hours traveling, performing rituals, taking a holy dip in the Ganga, and offering prayers for their ancestors. For them, a glass of cool sharbat can be a source of comfort and relief. Through this seva, approximately 10,000–15,000 pilgrims will receive refreshing sharbat on this sacred day.

Feeding the hungry has long been regarded as one of the highest forms of seva. Performing them on Amavasya, brings peace to one's ancestors. This grand distribution is expected to serve approximately 8,000–10,000 devotees gathered at the sacred Ganga Ghats.
Not everyone can travel to Haridwar, but through Sri Mandir, devotees can participate remotely in this Mahasevsa. Video of the seva will be shared within 24–48 hours after completion.
Mahaseva is a very virtuous and fruitful donation, which has been mentioned repeatedly in the Vedas and Puranas. When a person performs the highest acts like food, clothing and grains with devotion and selflessness, it is called Mahaseva. This donation not only destroys the sins of the donor, but also satisfies the ancestors, gods and sages and liberates him from the bondage of karma of many births!
