In Vrindavan, 250 years ago, a devotee named Snehi Lal Goswami carried a longing so pure it could not be contained. His Vatsalya Bhava was so complete that Krishna responded the only way He could: a Swayam-Prakat Tribhanga vigraha of Shri Radha Sneh Bihari Ji emerged from the earth itself, appearing for no reason other than one devotee's parental love.

In Udupi, 800 years ago, Devaki had seen her son as the Supreme four-armed divine form but she had prayed to see Him as a child again, holding a churning rod and rope, the innocent Bala roop she had glimpsed too briefly. That Bala Krishna form travelled from Dwarka across the ocean to Karnataka, concealed in Gopichandana clay, waiting for Madhvacharya to find Him and bring Him into the light. And then, when Kanakadasa was denied entry by caste, sat outside the temple and poured his love into song, Krishna turned His face westward inside the sanctum and opened a window in the wall so his devotee could see Him.

One appeared for a devotee's longing. One travelled for a mother's longing. One turned His face for a devotee who had nothing but love.
