This year during Pitru Paksha, take a 15‑day Gau Seva Sankalp at Shri Dham Gaushala, Vrindavan; Krishna’s nagari and a sacred Moksha Teerth. During this period, our ancestors are believed to visit, and seva offered with pure devotion brings Pitru Shanti.
As per Scriptures, during this period when no auspicious work is considered sacred, through Gau Mata seva, one brings the blessings of 33 crore gods and goddesses devtas. Moreover, offerings made to her reach the ancestors directly, granting peace and inviting peace to the entire family.
Serving cows in Vrindavan where Krishna had served them once as Gopala is considered immensely sacred and powerful. Mathura, one of the Sapta Puri, that holds tirthas—Vishranti, Bodhini, and Vayu—on the Yamuna, whose grace is linked with Yama’s kindness to our ancestors.
This sankalp is living seva: feeding, care, and honor for Gau Mata. To participate, enter your name, select sacred items, and complete payment for your offering.
