Purushottam Ekadashi Purushottama Yog Bhagavad Gita Paath & Aradhana

“Yasmāt kṣharam atīto ’ham akṣharād api cottamaḥ
ato ’smi loke vede cha prathitaḥ puruṣhottamaḥ”
- Bhagvad Gita, Verse 15.18
This means: Because I transcend the perishable and am even higher than the imperishable, therefore I am celebrated in the world and in the Vedas as Purushottama, the Supreme Person.

Once in every three years, the Hindu lunar calendar gifts an intercalary month, and when Ekadashi, the 11th lunar day dedicated to the worship of Narayana, falls within this rare month, the result is no ordinary occasion. It becomes Purushottam Ekadashi, one of the most spiritually charged days in the Vaishnava calendar, carrying the combined grace of an already-blessed month and the most beloved tithi of Lord Vishnu.

So, what is Purushottama Yog? Chapter 15 of the Bhagavad Gita is called Purushottama Yog, the yoga of the Supreme Being. On this day, devoted seekers recite this sacred chapter a minimum of 33 times as an unbroken offering to Narayana, creating a powerful channel of divine connection and surrender.

Why Perform Gita Path & Aaradhana at Dheegra Vishnu Temple? There's no more fitting place for this Aradhana than Shri Hari Dham, a temple that traces its origins back 4,500 years. Built by Vajranabh, the great-grandson of Lord Krishna himself, this is the world's only temple where Lord Hari is enshrined in His Deergha (grand) form.

Blessings of Gita Path & Aaradhana When you send your prayers to Narayana on a day this auspicious, in a place this sacred the results speak for themselves. Devotees experience the destruction of accumulated sins and negative karma, movement in tasks and goals that have long felt stuck, and a deep release from fear, confusion, and mental restlessness.
