Last Sawan Somwar Kashi Brahmin Seva

On the final Somwar of Sawan month, offer the sacred Brahmin Seva to worship Shiva at His sacred Kashi nagri. As per Puranic tradition, no sankalp bears fruit without offering food and dakshina to Brahmins. And in Kashi, the city that Shiva himself had established and eternally resides; this ritual becomes supremely potent.

Kashi's Assi Ghat is where seekers have performed Brahmin Seva for centuries. Serving Brahmins here is equal to directly offering to Lord Shiva. Known as the Adi Tapasvi, Shiva grants the highest boons through this act, just as he did to Ravan. In Kaliyug, Brahmin seva here becomes the most direct route to Shivlok. On this last day of Shravan, offer Brahmin Bhojan at Kashi as a mark of surrender, completion, and divine gratitude.
